
Dr. Abolle-Okoyeagu is a Principal Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and the Head of the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department at the School of Engineering at Robert Gordon University (RGU). She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Dr. Abolle-Okoyeagu holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Computer Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna and the University of East London, respectively. She earned her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. With over 15 years of experience in both industry and academia, she previously served as the Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering Lead at Edinburgh Napier University before joining RGU.
In 2024, Dr. Chika Judith Abolle-Okoyeagu was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering. She is deeply passionate about increasing female representation in engineering and is the founder of the Ecstemtic Network. As an advocate for diversity and inclusion in STEM, Dr. Abolle-Okoyeagu is dedicated to creating opportunities and fostering an environment where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive in these fields.
