About the Award
The Isabel Hardwich Medal is awarded to a WES member who has made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the Women’s Engineering Society over a number of years and gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Nominations are now closed
Eligibility & Application Criteria
Nominees must be based in the UK
Nominees must be over the age of 18
Nominees must be a member of WES
Self-nominations are accepted
Supporting statements must be 350 words or fewer
Words exceeding the limit will not be considered by the judges
Nomination process
Complete the online application form online and include a photo

Judging takes place during October
2.
Winners announced on the 8th December
3.
Deadline for nominations is 21st September, 2026
