CAMPAIGN DATE

23 June

A global celebration of women in engineering

International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) began in the UK in 2014 as a national campaign founded by WES then President Dawn Bonfield MBE. In 2017, the campaign became international following growing global participation and support.

Today, INWED is a worldwide campaign that raises the profile of women in engineering and encourages more girls and women to consider engineering careers.
