The Isabel Hardwich Award

The Isabel Hardwich Medal is awarded to a WES member who has made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the Women’s Engineering Society over a number of years and gone above and beyond the call of duty.

About the Award

The Isabel Hardwich Medal is awarded to a WES member who has made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the Women’s Engineering Society over a number of years and gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Eligibility & Application Criteria

  • Nominees must be based in the UK

  • Nominees must be over the age of 18

  • Nominees must be a member of WES

  • Self-nominations are accepted

  • Supporting statements must be 350 words or fewer

  • Words exceeding the limit will not be considered by the judges

Nomination process

Complete the online application form on The WES Awards site.

Gather and write your supporting statement.

Provide any additional information requested (references may be required).

3.

Submit your application before the deadline
