About the Award

The Gillian Skinner Award is presented to individuals who contribute to WES nationally or within their local cluster, recognizing their efforts regardless of their career stage or type of involvement.

Eligibility & Application Criteria

  • Nominees must be based in the UK

  • Nominees must be over the age of 18

  • Nominees must be a member of WES

  • Self-nominations are accepted

  • Supporting statements must be 350 words or fewer

  • Words exceeding the limit will not be considered by the judges

Nomination process

Complete the online application form on The WES Awards site.

Gather and write your supporting statement.

Provide any additional information requested (references may be required).

3.

Submit your application before the deadline

In line with Gill’s nature - quiet but very capable – the awards are made to celebrate the smaller ‘behind the scenes’ contributions to WES which can often go unnoticed but are nevertheless very valuable
