Fellow

For Women undergoing approved training leading to a qualification in engineering, technology or related sciences.
Full Member
This is for male engineers, and men and women who are not engineers, technologist or scientists to support the aims of the Society.
Associate
Women working in the fields of engineering, technology (including IT) or science, or those with a background in these areas are eligible.
Student

This is our highest grade of membership awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the field of engineering or a related sector, to the sustained encouragement of women in STEM, or in service to the Women Engineering Society.
Supporter
For anyone interested in the work of WES. This is a free option that does not include members benefits but provides a monthly newsletter which highlights all the news from WES and the wider engineering community.
Enquire about our concessionary rates for members who are currently unemployed, on maternity leave or retired.
WES Fellowships
Fellowships recognise individuals who have made a significant and sustained contribution to engineering, supported the progression of women in STEM, or served the Women’s Engineering Society. It is open to women engineers, who may use the post-nominal FWES. Associate Fellowship is open to women who are not engineers and to men, with the post-nominal AFWES. Fellows act as ambassadors for improving diversity in engineering.
