In 2015 Caroline graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a MEng in Mechanical Engineering. She is currently working at SSE in their graduate scheme. Caroline was a finalist at National Skills Academy - Power Graduate of the year 2016 and shortlisted for Utility Week 'Rising Star' Award 2016. She is proactive in the SSE ‘Women in STEM’ forum, helping existing female engineers inform and shape SSE’s diversity strategy and also a registered STEM Ambassador, promoting STEM subjects/courses to future generations. Caroline says "I'm really happy to be part of the YMB and looking forward to engaging with other women from different areas of the engineering industry. I hope we can share ideas and encourage more girls to take STEM subjects at schools and universities."
