Ursula Heng

Ursula is a senior engineering leader with circa 20 years’ experience in the FMCG sector, having applied her skills at Unilever, Kimberly – Clark and Procter & Gamble. Her experience includes leadership for Regional multi-million pound initiatives, driving technological innovation/application as well as strategic plans in both E-IMEA and North America. She serves on the Strategic Advisory Team for Research Infrastructure at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), is a Fellow of the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) and a Trustee for We and AI, an NGO which champions empowerment of society, business and government to help transform the blueprint for AI development, application and adoption.
She featured in the Guardian in 2018 as a diversity advocate and continues to support diversity in Engineering on the Directors Committee for Partners and as a Fellow at WES. As a Manchester University alum with a Masters in Chemical Engineering, Ursula is an active member of the London Alumni Steering Team. Her passion is the mobilisation of diverse thinking to deliver transformative change, and the promotion of responsible technology.
