  • What does a typical day at work look like for you?

My day is always unpredictable. I never know where I’m going to be, or what type of job I’ll encounter. I love a warrant day!

  • What advice would you give to your fifteen year old self?

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what career path to take at 15. Not many people do, including myself. Just go with it, don’t be afraid of new challenges.

  • Who or what inspired you to get into education?

I never aspired to an engineer, it just happened by accident, however it’s the best thing I ever did and would recommend it to other females!

  • What are your hobbies or interests?

Food! I love dining out, and cooking in my own kitchen, surrounded by family and friends.

  • What are the best and worst things about your job?

Best thing is meeting new and lovely people. One of the worst things is sometimes we can visit houses that are very unkept.

  • What is your proudest moment?

Starting my apprenticeship at 37 years old! I love how my confidence has grown. I have an excellent reputation with my colleagues and managers.
