Muddy Machines is an ag-tech robotics company coming out of the renowned venture incubator Entrepreneurs First and led by an ex-Dyson robotics engineer and a serial entrepreneur with a farming background. Our vision is to sustainably solve agriculture’s labour challenges with robots. There is a severe lack of seasonal harvest labour in agriculture. Crops are rotting in fields, especially in highly developed countries. 60% of speciality veg growers’ production costs are labour! Our solution to this is a robot platform (Sprout) which is deployable in a variety of crops to carry out labour-intensive tasks like harvesting and weeding.
