The Role

This Systems Engineer position sits within our bespoke engineering solutions side of the business, where we develop life-support systems in critical workspace, oxygen and carbon capture based solutions, water purification, rugged electronics for harsh environments and precision engineering of high-integrity equipment.

In the Systems Engineer role, you will work as part of a team to analyse customer requirements, and detail system function requirements; design, calculate and develop existing and new TPG Maritime Ltd equipment and support growth and new business opportunities. As a Systems Engineer, you will work across all departments. This ranges from production and supply right through to sales and customer support. The aim is to allow advance, develop and support our client base with holistic equipment and customer support.

About You

To deliver this role you will have a background in engineering and proven experience in creating and analysing large-scale systems. Ideally, you will have experience working within lean manufacturing system processes within a highly regulated environment. As a systems engineer you will have proven capability in working across multi-disciplinary teams, and the capability and integrate new systems and process throughout the engineering cycle. You will be able to inspire and lead those around you to develop, innovate, and to deliver.

  • Candidates will also need to either hold a current SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check (SC level) upon starting their employment with the company.
    • To gain SC clearance you will normally need at least 5 years’ UK residency.
