What you will do
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director within our Fire Suppression division who can manage delivery teams across UK&I. Our preferred candidate will have a strong leadership style with intrinsic motivation, positive charisma, a pro-active nature coupled with an understanding of business dynamics. You will be responsible for the management of service and installation regional teams across multiple customer sectors.
The Operations Director will provide senior leadership, management and strategic direction to build delivery capability for multiple Fire Suppression products and solutions enabling the business to achieve growth and a high level of customer service within a safe environment and ensuring delivery of fiscal objections.
We are looking for someone who can work in a senior management role to ensure the smooth running and ongoing development of the organization. We need an Operations Manager who can manage internal processes, is experienced in the management of projects, staff, data and budgets. You will need to confident in maintaining relationships with internal and external key stakeholders & external suppliers and be commercially minded, to achieve delivery efficiency, cost effectiveness and risk control.
How you will do it
Ensure company policies, guidelines and procedures are adhered to ensure that delivery teams achieve financial targets. Establish an operational cadence to review each business unit and develop robust improvement plans in order to consistently achieve KPI’s and SLA’s.
Review market trends and liaise with larger customers/clients and assist in establishing JCI as a recognised brand and preferred delivery partner to support growth objectives. Ensure monthly and quarterly forecasting for all areas of responsibility are conducted, delivered and reported accurately.
Collaborate with procurement team to improve supply chain capability and capacity. As a member of the leadership team responsible for ensuring an environment of integrity, trust, inclusivity, diversity, empowerment, accountability and consistency is promoted practiced by all team members within their area.
Ensure all employees recruited for roles within their area are of a high calibre and will actively support the growth of the business. Ensure that tenders are negotiated/submitted and reviewed for potential risks and benefits to the business.
