Graduate Technical Trainer

Join The Software Institute’s Graduate Technical Trainer programme! Stating on 2nd August 2022

You will participate in our paid 10 week training programme, giving you all the technical skills required to help us train technical talent from tech & non-tech backgrounds for new roles across a wide variety of technologies.  At the Software Institute we train at the cutting edge of technology always bringing new courses and combinations of technologies to reflect the demands of our clients, some of the biggest names in business.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can build rapport with a diverse range of people
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Can pick up new technical concepts quickly
  • Shows initiative and can work independently
  • Can cooperate effectively as part of a tight knit team

A tech based or STEM background is appreciated but not required. We’re looking for individuals with a strong passion and aptitude for technology.

Salary & Benefits 

  • Starting salary £30,000, but higher negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements
  • Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
  • Determine course content according to objectives
  • Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
  • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
  • Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
  • Observe and evaluate results of training programs
  • Continuous improvement of our trainees, our materials, and most importantly you!
