Four times accredited as a Top Employer, we have an outstanding opportunity to join East Midlands Railway to lead our Etches Park Depot team, based in Derby.
As the Depot Manager, you will provide leadership and governance across the depot, with responsibility for the delivery of safe, reliable and presentable trains into service on a daily basis. This position is full-time, working 5 days a week, mostly from the Depot. However, we welcome applications from candidates looking for flexible hours.
You will be a motivational leader and collaborator, with proven people management skills and a leadership background in a unionised production environment. You will have the ability to build strong relationships and have excellent commercial and financial management skills. You will also be an engaging communicator who is able to apply continuous improvement to look beyond the day to day for business improvements.
Previous experience within an Engineering/Railway environment is not essential. If you can demonstrate a strong background in people management within a unionised environment then we want to hear from you!
