Associate Professor (Senior Lectureship) in Intelligent Digital Manufacturing
£51,034 to £59,135 per annum
The School of Computing Sciences is looking to appoint an Associate Professor (Senior Lectureship) in Intelligent Digital Manufacturing to capitalise on the recent investment in robotics and manufacturing engineering at UEA. The post-holder will work with colleagues in the new School of Engineering to engage with local industry to exploit the manufacturing capabilities offered by Productivity East – a new regional hub for engineering, technology and management – while building UEA’s research capability in intelligent digital manufacturing and leveraging existing strengths in AI, Machine Learning and Internet Technologies.
Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in Computing Sciences or a relevant branch of Engineering (or other related discipline) and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification. They must have recent experience of teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.
This full-time, indefinite post is available from 1 August 2021.
