We are looking for an Assessor to join our team of lecturers and trainer/assessors who deliver apprenticeship programmes for the Engineering directorate. The purpose of the role is to provide assessment and EPA mentoring at the Work Based locations for apprentices, whilst providing assistance linked to other locations for James Watt.

The role consists of predominantly carrying out assessment of the learner undertaking several activities and roles such as maintenance of mechanical systems, Rail equipment, process plant and equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electronic systems, control systems and other workshop disciplines as required.

The post-holder will manage a caseload of learners per annum to meet agreed targets within set deadlines. Monitoring and recording progress of learners and work with employers to ensure learner achievements in line with contractual requirements.
