Area Sales Manager
This is a technical sales role with responsibility for sales of ABB equipment (Variable Speed Drives) to end users (generally industrial) and via distribution channels. Over a designated geographic area, you will be responsible for an agreed budget/target for annual sales.
Home based but reporting to our head office in the North West of England, you will develop relationships with existing customer, distributors and generate business with new customers across many industries. These include Water, Chemical, Steel, Food and Beverage. You will work closely with a nominated technical distributor to assist them with sales strategy, sales planning, customer visits and commercial support.
You will be reporting to a regional manager as part of a team delivering the regional budget.
Full product training will be provided and a development program put in place to sharpen sales, negotiation and commercial skills. You will have the opportunity for further educational and practical development and encouraged to progress your career.
Our products are class leading (we are the world leader by market share) and are pushing technology boundaries. You will have local support from an application and technical perspective.
