What we are looking for
You will provide engineering studies and technical support to the enfinium Kemsley team to generate clean, renewable energy to power both homes and businesses at enfinium’s waste to energy facility in Kent.
You will be crucial to the continued success and sustained growth of enfinium in the UK, and in preserving our environment for future generations whilst providing for today's energy needs.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, managing, communicating, and delivering key performance data reports from the facility. You will work closely with both Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure all defective equipment is reported and assist with managing the defect process.
You may also have the opportunity to work on Engineering projects at other enfinium locations within the UK and to support the Engineering teams as required.
Create cutting edge software for our hardware and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from design and development to integration. Work closely with both Electronic and Systems engineers, you'll enable the development of complex real-world systems that have to perform perfectly every time, as the consequences of failure could be catastrophic
Work in a holistic, multi-disciplinary role, focusing on the bigger picture and bridging the gaps between disciplines. Throughout the different stages of a product lifecycle, you'll take the lead in systems integration and testing, qualification and acceptance. As well as the technical aspects of projects, you'll also learn to consider important factors such as schedules, costs, training and environmental concerns.

It can be a physically demanding role that may require working at height, working in confined spaces, lifting and climbing in both hot and cold environments. It involves exposure to noise and dust, so you would need to be happy being hands-on, on a daily basis.
This is an exciting home-based opportunity for an engineer to join Allianz Engineering, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you’ll be assigned a defined geographical area. You will be inspecting a wide range of plant equipment, ensuring a high standard of customer service is provided to our clients. Following suitable training and induction into the role, we’d expect you to work with minimal supervision, utilising your experience and expertise to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
