Process Safety Engineer

Recycling Technologies
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire, UK
Salary:
Term: Permanent

UK-based Recycling Technologies Ltd is on a mission to make plastic a more sustainable material. Currently, 88% of the plastic used in the world is either buried, burnt or leaked into the environment. This means that the world only recycles 12% of the plastic waste generated each year. Recycling Technologies, a research, engineering, and manufacturing company, has developed innovative technologies to turn hard-to-recycle plastic waste, such as polystyrene and flexible packaging, into feedstocks for new plastic production. Our first commercial product, the RT7000, is modular and mass-producible, designed to fit onto existing waste and recycling sites, providing a scalable solution to recycle waste plastic anywhere in the world.

As a Process Safety Engineer at Recycling Technologies (RT) you will be responsible for all aspects of Process Safety, helping to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards throughout the detailed design, commissioning, and operating phases of RT’s commercial scale plant and a pilot scale Polystyrene recycling plant.
