Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Mechanics and Materials Engineering, to be known as the ‘Granta Design Lectureship in Engineering’.
The Lectureship is a primarily an experimental position for a mechanical engineer who will develop a leading international research profile in the mechanics of materials. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) additive manufacturing, in-situ testing, mechanical meta-materials and energy materials for a low-carbon future.
The lecturer will be expected to provide innovative teaching in the areas of mechanics and/or materials engineering, contributing to undergraduate courses, laboratory coursework, supervising undergraduate projects, examining and supervising of post-graduate students.
The positions are based in the Engineering Department in Cambridge.
