Lloyd’s Register Foundation Heritage & Education Centre

On entering their 1901 building you can experience Lloyd’s Register’s heritage brought to life through costumed characters, finds from our archive, an interactive exhibition ‘From Coffee to Seaweed’, and try being a virtual reality ship surveyor!

Join the Women’s Engineering Society, University of Leeds and Heritage Open Days at the The Women’s Library, London School of Economics to edit and add information about historical women engineers to Wikipedia. Training and historical resources will be provided.

The One Hundredth Annual General Meeting of the Women's Engineering Society will be held at the Copthorne Hotel, Paradise Circus, Paradise Place, Birmingham B3 3HJ on Saturday 19 October 2019 at 14:00 hrs.

Caroline Haslett Lecture and Awards Ceremony

The event will take place the evening of Wednesday 30 October in central London.

This year we are honoured to have Dr Anne Stevens take the lecture; one of the most prestigious and highest-ranking female engineers in the world.
