POSTER COMPETITION
WES has been looking for Early Career Engineers to present their work on the theme: Transforming the Future to a multidisciplinary audience. Two WES Centenary Conference Poster Prizes will be awarded at the conference, one decided by a panel of judges and the other for the audience favourite.

Presenters should be WES members* and Early Career professionals (of any age). 
Please note: This poster session was open to all genders.

The Poster Competition closed on Thursday 31 January 2019.
 Applicants will be informed if they have been selected to present their posters by 11th February 2019. Successful entries in the Poster Competition also received a significantly discounted ticket rate of £75 which went on sale once applicants were informed of the outcome of their applications. If you have any questions about your application, please email the WES Young Members Board

*WES Members are defined as those individuals who have one of the following memberships with WES: Full Members, Fellows, Associates and Student/Apprentice members.

Conference Accommodation

WES have negotiated a special rate for accommodation at Holiday Inn Brent Cross for delegates at our Centenary Conference. 

£75.00 inc VAT per room per night including Bed & Breakfast  (Single Occupancy)

£80.00 inc VAT per room per night including Bed & Breakfast (Double Occupancy)

Double and twin rooms are available.

(Rooms are available at this rate for guests staying between 14-16 March 2019. Rooms must be booked and paid for by 22nd February 2019).

Room Reservation Instructions

Please contact inhouse reservations at the Holiday Inn Brent Cross hotel directly on 0208 967 6359 within opening hours of 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri or email reservations@hibrentcross.co.uk quoting the reference "Women's Engineering Society Event" before the 22nd February 2019 to qualify for the special conference rate.

Full payment will be taken at the time of booking. Should delegates need to cancel this will also need to be done by 22nd February to avoid any cancellation fees, which will remain the responsibility of the delegate making the booking.
