Edith holds an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol and a PG Cert in Automotive System Safety Engineering from the University of York. After her degree, she joined Jaguar Land Rover on their graduate scheme and worked in a variety of roles in different departments, all in the area of dependability or safety, supporting projects in Powertrain, Chassis, Electrical and ADAS with safety analysis and validation testing and also setting up the company Functional safety processes. Two years ago, she joined HORIBA MIRA'S Functional Safety team as a Chief Engineer and she now oversee customer projects and provide FS training. In this talk, Edith will share some background about her experience as a Female Engineer within the automotive industry.
