Royal Society Rosalind Franklin Lecture

This year’s Royal Society Rosalind Franklin Lecture is being given by Professor Jo Dunkley on 17 November at 6.30pm, and is entitled ‘Our window on the Universe’. Professor Dunkley will also talk about the goal of engaging more young women to pursue physics, and about some of the scientists who have inspired and guided her.

Women Returners Conference 2016, London

We are excited to launch our first Women Returners Conference on Monday 14th November 2016 in London Join us for a day of inspiration, advice and support, specifically designed for professional women returning to work after a long break. Alongside a range of workshops, panels and speaker sessions, you will have a variety of networking opportunities. The Conference is hosted by the ICAEW and supported by the 30% Club, with Credit Suisse and Skanska as lead sponsors.

Educated Yorkshire


Educated Yorkshire 2016 (EY16) builds on the success of EY15 which was held at Bradford College last November. This year's event will be held on Thursday 10th November at Centenary Pavilion, Elland Road, Leeds.

EY15 brought in around 300 delegates - 79% overall were decision makers from schools, colleges and universities. 83% overall were schools, colleges and universities.

WES Caroline Haslett Lecture, London

The Caroline Haslett lecture (formerly Prestige Lecture) takes place on 8th November at the IET, Savoy Place, London.  It will feature a talk by the inspirational Dame Stephanie Shirley and the presentation of the 2016 Karen Burt Award followed by networking opportunities.  Further details to follow.
