Vera Ngosi

Vera graduated from the University of Bristol in 2016 with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. She since joined Arup as a design engineer in Water Infrastructure where she designs water and wastewater treatment networks network, dams and reservoirs. Vera also works alongside NGOs in developing countries, supporting Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) initiatives in countries such as India, Nepal and Malawi. Vera is an Associate Member of the IMechE and is currently working towards her chartership. 

 

 

 

 

Vera is a STEM Ambassador and supports the Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW).  

Vera joined the WES ECB in 2019 to utilise the platform to demonstrate to women from Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds that they too have a place in engineering.  

 

Outside of work, Vera enjoys cycling, football and cooking.
