Kati is a project manager for Automation at the Mars chocolate factory in Slough.
She was awarded a bursary by Sasol in South Africa, which enabled her to study Electronic Engineering and gain solid industry experience as a control systems engineer in Synthetic Fuels / Oil and Gas. She then moved into manufacturing overseeing automation projects and strategies for shampoo and perfume products. Now she is leading food safety projects in chocolate. Throughout her career she has delivered projects working in cross-cultural, cross-discipline and cross-industry teams.
She joined council in October 2016 and is leading the Women in Engineering Live 2019 project for the WES Centenary.
