Imisi graduated from Imperial College London with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After a 12 month placement at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) where she worked in the Battery Management Storage team for Jaguar’s first electric vehicle the I-Pace, she gained a MSc in Energy and Power Engineering in 2017 with a distinction.
After completing her MSc, she re-joined JLR on the graduate scheme, with placements including calibration on the Jaguar I-Pace, simulations in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Public Relations for Jaguar I-pace and F-type. She is currently a CAE Tools and Simulations engineer within Powertrain and is working towards chartership with IMechE.
Imisi was selected to feature in a magazine called Future Leaders run by Powerful Media, which annually celebrates 100 of the UK’s Most Outstanding Black students in 2014. She is a STEM Ambassador, passionate about encouraging girls into engineering. She has represented JLR in various campus events and both internal and external conferences, as well as events run by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT).
