The Baroness Platt Award for Incorporated Engineer.

This award is for the most outstanding individual registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) each year.

The prestigious award is named after Honorary WES Member Baroness Platt of Writtle CBE FREng in recognition of her work in support of the engineering profession in general and Incorporated Engineers in particular.

The prize is £1000, a medal and certificate. The Baroness Platt Award will be formally presented at a dinner in the City of London by the Worshipful Company of Engineers, a Livery Company of the City of London.

Nominees should, in the view of the PEI, have displayed outstanding commitment to the engineering profession, have excellent written and oral communication skills and have demonstrated the qualities required to manage teams of engineers.
