Women's Engineering Society has compiled a list of women engineers who are prepared to speak at their local schools to encourage more girls into engineering, or who would be prepared to comment to the media or speak at conferences where a woman representative is sought.
Please only contact the engineers individually, and avoid contacting all of the engineers listed in the register.
Join the Register
Inspire the next generation of female engineers and join our register! If you would like to be part of this register, please fill in our online application form.
We will then add your name, occupation, location, contact email and short summary to the register. As part of Women in Engineering Day you may be contacted by your local school and invited to speak, but it's not necessary to wait for an invitation, why not contact them first and offer your services?
Other Ways to Find an Engineer To Invite
If there is nobody on the Register of Engineer that is suitable, other sources of inspirational engineering role models can be found through:
This initiative also links to the Conference Diversity Charter to encourage 50/50 male/female representation at engineering and technical conferences and events.
