Isabel Hardwich Medal

The Hardwich Medal is presented to WES members who have made an outstanding contribution above the call of duty to the Society over a sustained period. Not awarded every year, in 2010 Council is delighted to recognise the services of both Betty McCarthy and Pam Wain. The Medals were presented at the AGM at Aston University by Professor Julia King, Vice-Chancellor.

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust The Trust offers an opportunity to increase your knowledge and experience through overseas travel in order to benefit others within your community. Applications are invited from a wide spectrum of interests, such as Science, Engineering & Enterprise.
