You are invited to join WES in celebrating the achievements of our award winners at the Caroline Haslett Lecture in London on Thursday 5th October 2017 from 2-5pm. The lecture will be delivered by Professor Isobel Pollock-Hulf. Isobel has been a chartered engineer for over 35 years, and has been an enthusiastic supporter of women in engineering, and the importance of engineering in general. Isobel's talk, 'Measuring Success' will explore the importance of measurement, something we do everyday, but rarely think about.
The following awards will be presented:
- Karen Burt Award - Best newly-chartered women engineer
- Gillian Skinner Award
- Isabel Hardwich Medal
- Amy Johnson Inspiration Award
- Men as Allies Award (New for 2017)
