WES Advisory Panel Inaugural Meeting

WES Patron Professor Dame Ann Dowling will chair the inaugural meeting of the WES Advisory Panel at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 27 May 2010.

Council is delighted at the calibre and breadth of experience among the Panel Members, from vice chancellors, Academy members, industry leaders to the recent winners of the Karen Burt Award Emily Spearman and Katy Deacon. The Panel has been set broad objectives to provide comment and advise on the Society's plans and to support and mentor Council members. Jan Peters, WES President said "The first meeting is timely as we are three years into our current business plan so we want to present our progress, our aspirations and be challenged about our future. We are truly appreciative of the time and support we are receiving"
