Warranty

Dunlop Safety is committed to the manufacture and marketing of high quality footwear.

All Dunlop Safety products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.

As Dunlop Safety has no control over the conditions in which footwear is stored or used, or the care it receives in use, our warranty does not guarantee or imply and exception of service life, apart from an assurance that our products will give equal or superior service life to footwear of similar construction from other sources.

In keeping with industry practice, Dunlop Safety reserves the right to sight footwear that is the subject of a warranty claim. In assessing the validity of a claim, due consideration will be given to the condition of the footwear, its apparent age, and due allowance will be made for wear and tear. Premature failing of components owing to abrasion, cutting, impact, hydrolysis, microbial attack, chemical saturation or other physical damage will not be regarded as warrantable. Such damage is appropriately the responsibility of the wearer.

Footwear received by Dunlop, under a warranty claim will be returned,(upon request) within 30 days where the claim is rejected. Where footwear is replaced Dunlop Safety will retain the used footwear for disposal.

All products of Dunlop Safety Footwear is manufactured to EN ISO 20345 (2004) European Standard Certification. There are Dunlop Safety Footwear products suitable for most industrial applications. It is important that the quality advice is sought from your supplier of Dunlop Safety Footwear or direct from our Customer Service Team if there is any doubt as to the suitability of an individual style to an intended application.

DUNLOP SAFETY Footwear should be worn with socks at all times. Failure to do so can result in excess moisture causing the insoles to wear out quicker than they normally would. For cleaning, it is recommended that any of the leather care products available be used.

How long should the footwear last? With normal wear and tear, most people find their footwear lasts for one year. However, this is only a guideline as several factors will determine how long a person's footwear lasts. Some of these considerations include: 1. How often they are worn, and how long are the shifts. Some people wear them 7 days a week, or many work 14 ‐ 16 hours daily. Obviously, these will be worn out quicker than someone working part time, or Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  1. Weight can determine how quickly shoes will wear out. Generally, the heavier the person, the more wear and tear on a shoe.
  2. General wear and tear on a shoe can vary from job to job. Some people are also "harder" on their shoes than others, resulting in quicker wear and tear.
