WES is delighted to welcome intern Angella Kelly to lead the development of the WES Student Programme to connect and share best practice among student groups and especially connect students in FE. Our amibitions are to see increases in the number of women apprentices, women on engineering and construction diploma courses and more women graduating with engineering and technology degrees.

Angella's plans include open days, offering on-line career help, fieldtrips and company visits to help connect students with women working in relevant professions such as engneering, aviation, space, construction, marine naval architecture, energy and biosciences.

Angella has experience in delivering exciting outreach programmes through her own business Discovery 4 and says she is delighted to be working with an advisory committee of experienced WES members and also Terry Marsh of the WISE Camapign. This project extends a long standing relationship with WISE where WISE programmes and activities conenct with WES members from around the country.
