WES Technical Leadership Webinar Programme
The first in the series of presentation dinners took place at The Royal Society on the evening of 19 March. Some thirty invited guests, all senior women engineers in industry and academia, were welcomed by WES President, Grazyna Whapshott. Dame Ann Dowling, WES Patron and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, ably chaired the presentation given by Deb Grubbe, Vice-President Process Safety, BP p.l.c. Deb, a chemical engineer, has an impressive track record, on both sides of the Atlantic, at corporate director level in safety, operations and engineering.
